Steps to Apply for a Construction Permit

After completing soil investigation, follow these steps to obtain a Permit to Work on Plot (PWP).

Step 1: Design Approval from Civil Defense

The tenant’s consultant must submit the architectural and technical drawings to Civil Defense for preliminary approval.

Step 2: Submission to SFZ Technical Team

Submit the approved drawings and documentation to SFZ's Technical Team for review and processing.

Step 3: Issuance of PWP Certificate

The Construction Manager will issue a Permit to Work on Plot certificate allowing construction to begin.

Building Completion & Operation Approval

Before connecting utilities or starting operations, your facility must undergo a final inspection to ensure it meets all regulatory requirements.

  • Civil Defense compliance
  • Technical specification adherence
  • Environmental clearance

Upon successful inspection, a Building Completion Certificate and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) will be issued by relevant authorities.
