Ali Tabook – Chief Executive Officer

Ali Tabouk holds an MBA and a BS.c in Business Administration. He has over 15 years of experience in industries such as hospitality, Logistics and Shipping. He is a well trained professional in investment consultancy, corporate solutions, sales and marketing, customer services, Public Relations and community relations, leadership, personnel Developments and management with innovation and business thinking. He has plenty of experience in GCC, Europe and the Asian Markets, and has an excellent net work of investment and financing houses. Ali joined SFZCo as Commercial Manager after serving the same role for The Port of Salalah for 6 years; he was in-charge of all leases, agreements and selling the port services. He also played key role in the establishment of many business opportunities in the country i.e. 55 million USD projects and business opportunities.

Ram Santhanam – Chief Finance Officer

Mr. S. Ram Santhanam is a senior chartered Accountant from India with Law and Commerce as additional qualification. He has extensive knowledge on computer applications and ERP. Mr. Ram has nearly 38 years of Post qualification experience in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Law, Compliances and international Banking. He has worked in 7 countries in senior position in Finance and Administration. He has been working with Salalah Free Zone from October 2006 and presently holding the position as Director-Finance. He is heading the Accounting, Finance, Legal and supply chain departments of the company. He has submitted many professional articles in the Finance professional magazines.
Regarding Salalah Free Zone, Mr. Ram says : “I have been with SFZCO more or less from the beginning and the progress it has made in the last 13 years has been very encouraging. SFZ has attracted many leading investors from all over the world and has been contributing to the National Economy and also for the development of Dhofar region and for the employment of Omani Nationals substantially. With the support of the Govt. of Oman and with the fully dynamic executive management, there is no doubt that SFZ will achieve greater heights in the years to come. Hamid AL Kathiri - Technical Director

Hamid Al Kathiri has a Master Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Coventry, United Kingdom. He received his BEng in Structural Engineering with Architecture from the University of Manchester, UK. His professional experience spreads over a period of 16 years having worked in several multidiscipline positions related to Oil and Gas as well as Port Development Projects. Before joining Salalah Free Zone as a Technical Director; he was holding the position of General Manager for Projects Development and Implementation at Salalah Port Services. During his working years, Hamid has equipped himself in various facets of Project Management, Construction Management and Interface Management with sound knowledge of various engineering disciplines. This includes Strategic Planning, Contracts Management, Quality Control and Site Safety Management, Cost Control, Planning and future expansions from project initiation until completion and Handover. He has displayed caliber and leadership in managing projects of various types, sizes and complexities. Possess excellent analytical, organizing, decision making, coordination and time management skills. In May, 2018 Hamid completed a leadership training from the Institute for Management Development (IMD) as part of the National CEO Program.

Dr. Ahmad Rushdi - Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment Director 

With more than 20 years of experience in major construction projects, research institutes and government entities within GCC & Australia. Prior to joining Salalah Free Zone Company developed and implemented QHSSE policies, management systems, emergency plans, security design/frameworks, operational procedures and guidelines utilizing the latest international ISO standards including 45001, 14001 and 9001. Maintained and updated his knowledge of environmental, quality, security and OHS legislations in Oman and GCC by means of continual professional development. He holds a PhD degree in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University, Australia since 2004 and bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology since 1997.

Ramanathan - Internal Auditor
